Well, this is? different!
Queen ginger Geri Halliwell recently brought her spice-y, sassy self to the UK's Breast Cancer Care Show, and displayed her love and support for all those fighting Breast Cancer by breaking down the iconic, first ever Spice Girls tune, Wannabe (above)!
And we don't hate it?
But it does have an elevator music type quality to it, and Geri does NOT seem super confident with the rhythm and lyric change-ups. Ah well, it's gotta be an intimidating task to sing a song originally meant for five spunky, young voices, at such a serious event! And at least it was all for an excellent cause.
Maybe she's still broken up about Russell Brand's promiscuous penis?!
Anywho, with a little more practice, we're sure Geri could slay this slower version? perhaps on some sort of Spice Girls REUNION tour?! Each girl could take a song, change it up, and sing it solo! It would allow each a turn in the spotlight, and then they could return to singing their hits as an ensemble.
