Position Description:

This position is for a Sales Account Executive for Small Business and Key Account Employer Groups (2 - 3, 000 employees) and their respective brokers, selling through the Vietnamese/Chinese channel in the core markets of San Francisco, California.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining Broker and Agency Sales securing new business by effectively representing and selling UnitedHealthcare products, services and solutions
• Accountable for conducting sales presentations to obtain new business. Conduct client meetings and enrollment
• First point of contact for determination and resolution of complex service issues for brokers and customers
• Develops strong working relationships with current brokers that encourage renewal and future business with UnitedHealthcare

Requirements:

• Fluent in Chinese or Vietnamese as well as English
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Ability to travel within the territory up to 75% of the time
• 3 years industry experience (preferably in benefit enrollment with account management or new business sales strongly preferred in a managed health care industry)
• State Life and Health Insurance License required (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Assets:

• Experience working in a sales environment within the health insurance industry
• Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of equivalent work experience in the managed health care industry
