Principal/Asst. Principal/Dean of Students
STEM is looking for Highly-qualified candidates to fill a position as Principal/Asst. Principal/Dean of Students.?? We are an academic oriented school with an emphasis on traditional values and strong parental involvement. ?STEM is currently teaching grades 6-9 and will be adding 10^th grade next year.? Our student population is projected to be approx. 635 students for next year and will grow even more in subsequent years.? We are looking for a leader with a minimum of five years of school administration experience.? STEM is looking to fill two positions to accommodate school growth and future school needs.? The ability to work with people and in a team environment is paramount.? Successful candidate will be required to report no later than July 23, 2012 for the 2012-2013 school year.

The STEM School and Academy is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for grades 6 ? 12. The position includes classroom support, resource room, and all paperwork associated with proper compliance and support of students with learning disabilities.

Special Education Speech Pathologist/Learning Specialist

The STEM School and Academy is seeking a full-time Special Education Speech Pathologist/Learning Specialist. ?This is a full-time position that includes duties of both a Speech Pathologist and a Learning Specialist.? Douglas County School District experience a plus but not required.

Executive Assistant/Bookeeper

The STEM School and Academy is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant/Bookeeper to the President. This full-time position includes secretarial and bookkeeping duties.? This individual must have experience with double entry bookkeeping as well as data manipulation skills using Excel and Access along with secretarial skills using Word?mail merges.? This individual will also assist in preparing agenda items and minutes for various meetings.? Facility management and web skills also a plus.

STEM Academy Athletic Director/Performing Arts

STEM Academy is looking for one person to be the before and after-school Academy Athletic and Performing Arts Director. This part-time position will work under the STEM Academy Executive Director coaching and directing the intramural middle school fall (Football, Cross Country, Volleyball) winter (Dodgeball, Basketball) and spring (Golf, Tennis, Cross County, and Lacrosse) sports. The Athletic Director will coach and facilitate at least one of these sports/season, and will also be in charge of recruiting and managing other coaches. The Athletic Director will also be looking to add High School CHASSA Cross County, Golf, and Tennis. Other duties of this position will include directing some of the performing arts programs such as guitar, drama, and choir that will be happening in the mornings. Other duties include managing the school?s fun friday program, updating our website with the new programs and assist with STEM Academy Fundraisers. This person needs to be able to make budgets and keep track of transactions. Position Pay: $12 ? 18 /hr.? Approximately 185 working days per year at 30 hrs. per week. Negotiable Benefits -?
