JWF Inexplicably Believing They Deserve $15 an Hour, Fast Food Workers Walk Off the Job Let?s see how well they get by on $0.00 per hour. There?s a slowdown of fast food today, as hundreds of workers from chains including McDonald?s, Burger King and Wendy?s are walking off the job at city restaurants. That is a relatively small percentage of the number of fast food workers in New York. They want the industry to pay what they call a living wage of $15 an hour and to allow workers to form a Union without retaliation. Today?s walkout kicks off a week-long series of strikes in seven cities. Workers in Chicago, St. Louis, and Detroit are planning walkouts later in the week. They should get a lot of sympathy in a bankrupt hellhole like Detroit. Meanwhile, one of these losers claims he?s trying to support a family ? on minimum wage. MORE . ...
