I bought a new crock pot this weekend, and I?m excited!? My old crock pot?s lid had been dropped and had lost its handle, which meant I had grown quite accustomed to scorching my fingers when using a butter knife to slide underneath the lid to remove it.? And when the crock itself was dropped not long ago, well?here I am, owner of a shiny, new, 7-quart crock pot.
I almost didn?t know how to make some meals without it.? I tried a couple times to make ?crock pot? roast on the stove top, like I saw my Grandma do sometimes.? It wasn?t the same.? Not nearly as tender as you get from the long cooking time with low heat in a crock pot.
Doesn?t your crock pot just make your life easier?? It does mine!
Here?s what is on our family menu this week.
